As we move from Autumn into Winter, the colder mornings have arrived — and with them, the temptation to leave your vehicle running to defrost while you stay warm indoors.

Staffordshire Police would like to remind motorists that leaving your vehicle unattended with the engine running, even for a short time, can make it an easy target for opportunistic thieves. Every year across the county, vehicles are stolen in just this way — often referred to as “frost-jacking.”
